Did you know....?  Psychologists cannot use client testimonials

The College of Alberta Psychologists, which governs and oversees all psychologists practicing in the Province of Alberta, states in its “Standards of Practice” that psychologists are prohibited from using the testimonials of current or previous clients, at any time, in any form, “even when such testimonials are offered (italics added) and not solicited”. This is why you will see few (if any) Google or Yelp reviews for even the best psychologists. This is done to maintain the privacy and confidentiality of both the client and the psychologist.
