Many children experience anxiety with the return to school. Try establishing predictable routines, including sleep, waking, eating and hygiene, a few days before school begins. It is also a good idea to reduce the reliance on screen time and re-introduce board games, reading, even baking or cooking. This way children can practice and know what to expect when the first day of school arrives.
