At Child Inspired Psychology Group, Dr. Michelle and her team offer comprehensive Psychoeducational Assessments and Evidence Based Therapies (CBT, Solution Focused, Play-Based, etc.) to support children, adolescents and their families to reach their full potential. From small scale life hassles, to traumatic experiences - our services are personalized to suit your needs.

Dr. Michelle also offers Parent Coordination/Co-Parent Counselling to assist with family matters during separation and divorce. We also complete Practice Note 7 interventions, including Triage, Voice of the Child reports, Reunfication Therapy and parenting plans.
We understand that gaining access to counselling can be difficult and expensive. That's why we offer low-cost counseling services delivered by our Psychology Interns. Our goal is to make counselling accessible to all children and families in need.

The Therapeutic Process
Our role is to provide a safe therapeutic environment where you and/or yourchild can openly express his or her thoughts and feelings. We use a variety of activities such as games, books, sand and art to make it easier for kids to express themselves. Creative visualization, sandtray and bibliotherapy are a few therapeutic modalities we have found to be very helpful.
Adolescents will enjoy the casual, yet focused atmosphere that taps into their strengths and talents to improve emotional regulation and enhance family and peer relationships.

Dr. Michelle is a Registered Psychologist who has over 20 years of experience working with children and families. As a scientist-practitioner Dr. Michelle engages in evidence based practice in the treatment of anxiety, depression, ADHD, ODD, disordered eating, parent-child conflict, self-harm, trauma and attachment.

Dr. Michelle has expertise in separation and divorce providing Practice Note 7 Interventions.

Dr. Michelle is licensed with the College of Alberta Psychologists and maintains professional registrations with the Psychological Association of Alberta, the Canadian Psychological Association and the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts.
